Frequently
Asked Questions
When is the electronically delivered Star-Ledger available
for access?
Our goal is to be ready for reading by 5:00 am, 7-days a week.
What are my subscription choices?
Electronic Delivery of The Star-Ledger is available as a 7-day subscription. The subscription
rate is just $1.50 per week for current Star-Ledger newsprint
subscribers and just $3.00 per week for non-subscribers.
Does Star-Ledger Electronic Delivery work on all Web browsers?
Older browsers do not comply with all of the Web standards. Internet Explorer 5.0 and Netscape 6 or newer are recommended. PC and Macintosh versions differ slightly. The Macintosh does not have the highlighting features.
Does option speed matter?
The Electronic Edition works best on DSL or cable options; a 56K modem is recommended. Downloading on anything less than a 56K modem will be slower.
Can I share my password?
Yes. While the system will allow only one user to log-on per password at a time, other family members can also enjoy the paper when you're through -- like college students who are away for the semester.
How can I read a sample of the electronically-delivered newspaper?
